Black seed honey or the Nigella flower honey comes from the Nigella flower.
Nigella is an annual herbaceous plants with finely cut foliage of the Ranunculaceae family, belonging to the genus Nigella (from the Latin “nigella” itself from “niger” meaning black  with reference to the colour of the seeds of the species of this  kind).  There are about twenty species, all native to Eurasia.
