Rambling Monarch – Light Ale 3.6% Alcohol
A light refreshing ale best enjoyed after a walk along the Monarch’s Way which passes through Bramber and Upper Beeding following the route of King Charles II’s escape to France from Shoreham in 1651. The floral, citrus/spicy aroma of East Kent & Styrian Golding hops is followed by the classic bitter taste of Challenger hops.

Steyning Stinker – Smoked Beer 4.0% Alcohol
Named after the train that ran from Shoreham to Steyning & Bramber, we have used smoked and chocolate malts to achieve a distinctive smoky flavour. The hops used give the beer a slight fruity / spicy edge to compliment the earthy and smoked flavour from the grain.
Allergens: BARLEY

Beeding Best – Session Beer 4.2% Alcohol
The Brewery is based within the South Downs National Park on the banks of the River Adur. On the outskirts of Upper Beeding, so a bit of a no-brainer name for this one. The beer has a pine / floral characteristic with just a hint of liquorice.
Allergens: BARLEY

Tangmere Tower – Golden Ale 4.4% Alcohol
The beer is brewed in a style which would have been familiar in the time of the Battle of Britain and the D-Day Landings. We have only used British hops giving the beer a clean crisp taste with a subtle hint of spice.
Developed in conjunction with the “Save Tangmere Tower” group, a contribution to the funds will be made for each beer sold.

Dirty Arthur – Dry Hopped 4.9% Alcohol
This beer was brewed to celebrate the 150-year anniversary of St. Marys School Washington, and is named after an old boy, Arthur Adsett. He was caned at school for being muddy hence his nickname. Arthur was killed at the battle of the Somme in World War 1, so the beer is brewed with three different hops, all grown in the Flanders area. It has been dry hopped with Saphir giving it a huge citrus/orange taste.

Sneaky Steamer – Hoppy Beer 5.1% Alcohol
One of our directors has a passion for steam engines. The family owned Burrell steam traction engine “Lion” was built in 1916 and can often be seen being driven around the locality. Four different hops are used in this beer giving it a pine / floral characteristic with a hint of grapefruit.

Tubbers’ Tipple – Premium Beer 500ml 5.6% Alcohol
Named after those intrepid folk who braved the River Adur avoiding flour bombs and eggs in nothing more than glorified bath tubs, staying afloat long enough to paddle from Upper Beeding to Shoreham. The beer has an earthy / spicy characteristic with just a hint of honey.
Allergens: BARLEY

Bee Ding Mead – Fermented Honey Drink 3.6% Alcohol
Mead is one of the oldest known alcoholic drinks, ours takes just over 3 months for the sugars in the honey to ferment out. Our Mead is a low strength, slightly sweet drink that is best enjoyed served chilled from the fridge.

Riverside Brewery Ltd

Nestled in the South Downs, alongside the winding River Adur, we brewed our first batch of the now-classic Beeding Best in 2015. Since then we have widened our range to include seasonal winners, a contemporary lager, a rather splendid mead and collaborations with local charities. Our heart lies in the community we serve.
